Mandalorian Helmet Visor Frame - 3D Model Design

Loading 3D viewer...

Description

Building out my Mandalorian cosplay for DragonCon this year and I've got the helmet base sorted, but I need the visor frame piece that sits inside. I've got decent reference images from the show and some fan renders, but nothing that's actually printable yet. Basically, I need someone to create the 3D model for the internal visor mounting frame - the part that holds the black visor lens in place inside the helmet. From my reference images, it looks like it has angled supports on both sides and a slightly curved top piece that wraps around. The visor opening is roughly 8 inches wide and 5 inches tall based on my helmet dimensions. I'm planning to print this in matte black so it blends with the visor itself. The frame needs to be sturdy enough to hold a 3mm polycarbonate lens without flexing, so I might need some reinforcement ribs or thicker walls depending on how you design it. I have reference images I can share - mix of stills from the show and some existing 3D models that show the general shape, though those other models aren't in a printable format. If you need me to send over measurements or take photos of my helmet's opening, I can do that too. Looking for someone experienced with fitting parts together since this needs to mount cleanly to the helmet interior. I'm hoping to get this printed and assembled within the next 4-5 weeks if possible.
